1½ Cups Rice
6 Cups Milk
70 gram Raisins
1 to 1 ½ Cups Sugar (depending on the sweetness you
desire)
Pinch of Ground Cardamom and Cinnamon
1½ Cup Coarsely shred nuts (meedheli madha or cashew)

2 Cup Water
Method

Wash and drain the rice.

Soak in the water for about 15-25 minutes.

Boil the rice in that very same water until it is coated and the water dries up. Add the milk and simmer on low heat for about 30-45 minutes.

Don’t forget to stir and scrape the sides and bottom frequently. Otherwise it will stick to the bottom (not the top).

Exert a some force or stir at high speed to mash rice while.

When it is creamy, add sugar and stir in well.

Remove from heat and add crushed cardamom cinamon, rose water and shredded nuts.
Serve hot or cold garnished with what you fancy.
